Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pristine Detail Co. ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services.
1. Information We Collect
When you book or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, service address, and vehicle information. When you pay, our payment processors collect and process your payment details — we do not store full card numbers.
When you browse our public website, we collect first-party usage data such as pages viewed, approximate time of visit, browser/device type, referring website, and IP address (used to estimate general location and unique visitors). This analytics data is used internally to understand traffic and improve our site — we do not sell it.
Service addresses you provide are stored in our internal systems to schedule mobile detailing, route our team, and maintain service history. Staff-only tools may display addresses on an internal map for operations and customer relationship management.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to schedule and perform services, communicate with you about appointments, send receipts and confirmations, process payments, plan routes and service areas, track maintenance and follow-up visits, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Service Providers
We share limited information with trusted providers who help us operate, including payment processors (Stripe and Square), email delivery (Resend), hosting/infrastructure (Vercel), and map/geocoding services (Google Maps and, as a fallback, OpenStreetMap / Nominatim) used to convert map clicks and addresses to coordinates for internal staff tools only. These providers handle your data under their own privacy and security terms.
4. Communications
We may contact you by email or phone regarding your booking. Receipts are sent by email when an email is provided. You may opt out of non-essential messages at any time.
5. Data Retention
We retain transaction and service records as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes — generally up to seven years. Website analytics and internal map/CRM notes are retained as long as needed for operations and may be deleted when no longer useful. Older detailed records may be archived or aggregated, after which only summary revenue totals are kept.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and rate limiting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Contact
